Well about to do a gear change on a 02 ford F-150 with the 8.8 front end. It looks to be a 2 piece pumkin at first glance last night. I have done several 8.8 exploder's adn lots of Dana stuff. So I am ok with 'nuts and bolts' but wonder if this setup is going to require any special tools? ANd anyone ever do these? If so any info you can help with?

PS also going to do the 9.75 rear. Is this a odd creature or will it be just a simple setup also??

The front 8.8 is a reverse cut differential, if you didn't already know that. I hope you ordered the right gears.

Yep as well as I think its a 28sp.. Its some odd number...
