well for the update vultures here - a few pics
the lower track arm mount - 1/4"rear - 1.75 .120 wall herw brace - the front is 3/16" - ![]() ![]() ![]() then the upper - had to fill the frame hole with some 1/4 and then the main mount is 1/4 - will have a bump stop made on the rear of the mount when all is said and done - - so will the other side ![]() ![]() here you can see the angles - close enough for me i have over 7.5" of up travel before the bumps hit ( from height now - will go down arounf 1.5" ) ![]() and a new TURNED AROUND pic ![]()

no real progress - work was really slow and i had no hours - so i quit and got a new job - same shit diffrent locaton - so the cash is all but gone - all i have done is some diff covers - got them from trailerguy - they came off his buggy - he changed them and i got his trail tested covers - so - my truggy has been to the rubicon and the hammers - but it never left the shop -
i have some pics of the rear - i blasted it and welded the inner seams ( had some rtv on it ) heated and straightened the lower half ( he peeled back 1/2 plate )and had my buddy at the mach. shop make it flat - then tied it to my truss - ( missing the bolt and holes in the pics as i forgot my 5/8 bit ) will blast the front and weld the inners the same way - then tie it to the truss and make a ram mount

the finger ties the center section to the truss - i have seen 14 bolts break the plug welds and spin the center chunk - it helps tie the cover into the truss - i am going to weld the tubes too - just havent gotton that far -
i got the covers used from a friend ( read above / before the pics - i know its hard )
