Which EB coils to get?

I have the old 1/2 ton coils on my bronco and I'm tired of being rattled around. So I am looking to get some new coils. I was just wondering if anyone has run a couple different sets of coils, and has any insight as to which coils you prefer. Also wondering which EB parts dealers sell the deaver coils? I want to use my truck for rockcrawling so any info would be greatly appreciated.

My main squeeze EB crawler is on BC's 5.5" coils (I believe those are Deavers?). Love it. My son's '76 rig is on 3.5" WH springs..love 'em. Just finished building a 5.5" suspension upgrade for a bud's '68 EB with CAGE coils..fantastic. Duff's springs are great...

I don't think you can go wrong these days with any of the vendor options..they all have the right stuff. (got a set of K-bar-S 6" coils I'll sell ya..cheap )

ive only had wildhorse coils, but first pair i bought were old used wh 3.5", worked awesome, when i switched to the 5.5" wh coils(prog. rate crawler coils) i had a line of people wanting to buy my coils because they had seen how well they worked under my b2.

i would definately reccomend wildhorses coils, flexed insane with stock radius arms even

BC and JBG sell the deaver springs. From what I've been reading, jbg changed their eb spring rates from 200 to 300lb/in--probably so they can sell the same coils for all broncos. I wouldn't know, they won't email me back. That's too stiff for me though, as are my 5.5" CAGE springs. I also have a set of 3.5" WH rock springs that I used to use that aren't too bad, but still too stiff. I'm debating buying a set of bc springs/calling deaver and seeing what they'll do or just going with air shocks.
Anyway, if I were to start over again I would no doubt just go with the bc broncos linear coils even though I think everything they sell is overpriced.

Over the years I have tried over 10 different sets of coils up front, including a couple sets of custom ones. Currently I am running BC 3.5" I have had them for about 6 years, and LOVE them. The options they give you combined with the quality of the product and the service they give, make it an easy choice.

Cage Coils are a great choice. I ran Duff and Wildhorses and they were the same. Did well but the Cage coils did better.

I run BC 6.5 coils on my SAS'd Ranger. I like them, but I don't have any other experience with other coils so I don't really have anything to compare them to.

I've ran the 3.5" WH Crawlers for a couple of years now. Great springs! Ride well n the street and trail. Just bought a set of 5.5" Cage coils for my next project.
