HELP EB dana 44 ?
Ive got a dana 44 out of a 74 EB . Are the axels the same on the dana 30 and the dana 44. The 44 I have takes the smaller U-joints in the knuckles so it must be a 1/2 ton. What can I do to put beefier U-joints in the knuckles.
Ive got the EB 44 in the rear of my zuk for rear steering and im running 37 swampers. I broke the spicer knuckle joint on mickies hot tub. the joints only had three runs on them. thanks for your help guys

Buy new axles with 297x joints in them....
Call Randy's Ring and Pinion, they have super cheap chromo shafts for that axle......

You can also use any Full size Ford D44 axle. The Drivers side inner and outer will slip right in. the Passenger side inner can be narrowed and resplied for about $60 and that will allow you to run 297x Ujoints

~$350 or so for both sides, inner and outer
