i have a 78 f250 and im looking at putting a 460 in it, I have done some searching and found a bunch of kits but do i really need those or just some motor mounts any ideas would be appreciated

Mounts & headers are the biggest issues, assuming your running an M engine now. Cooling system can be a concern, as well as fan clearance.

I've had success with L&L in the past.

or you can get a pair of mounts for a 390, they will drop right into place and I have yet to tear them out and I run 500+ hp
