I need help. I have 95 F350, 4wd, diesel. 80k
Front brakes calipers were not realeasing all the way, causing brake drag. I replaced them with new calipers/pads. When I went to road test, I found that when I apply brakes, the pedal gradually goes all the way to floor. I suspected master cylinder, and replaced that. Still does same thing. This only happens when the engine is running. With engine off, pedal holds firm, but when I start, it goes to the floor.
Does anyone suspect vacuum booster? Can they malfunction like this and allow the pedal to go to the floor?
