So on Sunday I will be acquiring a 93 Explorer. I have a 302/ZF5spd/208F to put in it, probably spring over the rear and use some 5.5" Cage EB coils in the front, extend the radius arms, fullwidth D44/9", and some 36-38's.
I need to install a clutch pedal... I figure it is easier to find a pedal assembly from a Ranger than an Explorer. Any idea what year Rangers would have the right pedal assembly? I would assume the 89-92 pedals would bolt right in? Are the pre 89 pedals or the 93+ pedals the same?
my best guess would be 93 or newer ranger as they are the same body type. Down here in Sacramento CA there are always 5spd exploders in the picknpull. PM me know if you want me to look for one.
yep...das+ same pedals...pull the snap pin on right by the gaspedal..and pull the clutch pedal towards the kickpanel..get the brake pedal too...easy 10min job...
There are 1st and 2nd gen stick explorers. They are not as common but they are out there. The Sport have them mostly, not so many 4 doors:smokin:
