I have found a 1988 7.3L auto F-250 4x4 that has 80k on it and needs a new cam sensor. What axles would this have? transfer case? I plan on turning it into a trail truck and thought having a diesel might be nice
My plan was to take off the bed or cut it up and shorten the wheelbase, strip the inside, cut the fenders, and do a D60 or rockwell swap. But i'm guessing the t-case isn't very good stock
but the 50 is still a TTB, so it doesnt make a diffrence...
just make it a tow rig... or a mudder. the 7.3s are heavy mofos... the 1356 is plenty stong, they just have the oil problems like stated earlier... strong tho for a chain case...
