best center section for a 9 inch

After blowing 2 standard centers running 31 and 33 spline shafts, spooled, I need a better center. do I look at a s case, n case or other. Don't really need a high pinion and I am running 4:88 with 37inch tire. It looks like to pinion support is blowing out and the exploding the case.

I would say N case minimum but depends, are you gonna try to get that used or buying new? If new, I would just pony up for a Strange case.

My friend had the same problem in his cherokee on 37" boggers, he went with the Currie 9+ center and hasnt had a problem yet. He has 35 spline shafts too.

Thats the smaller bearing thirdmember, my buddy has the small bearing 35 spline spool. Which allows him to run that 3rd. Normally you need the 3.25 Carrier bearing 3rd to run 35 spline.

Heres the 3.25 bearing version.

i have the nodular Strange 3rd in my truck. no problems yet... it seems to be built very well. if you compair the stock 3rd, and the Strange 3rd, you can see why its so much stronger...

Get the strange N and a billet pinion support. Make sure to get the third that will take 35 spline 3.25 and you will be able to run 31 spline on up to 40. If you run smaller then 35 spline you have to get spacers "cheap" and if you want to go to 35 spline later on you will only have to change the locker and not the third also.
