4x4 no engaging on a 77 ford f250
im pretty sure its not my transfer case since the front driveshaft turns, i took the old manual hubs off and the drivers side one was ok but i put a new one on anyway. the passengers side hub was broken though and wouldnt lock and the shaft the hub goes on (cant think of the name atm) is bent like its broken or a bearing is out. any ideas as to what my problem is?
btw hi everyone this is my first post |

Possibly a broken stub shaft. If it isn't running true there is definitely a problem and it will require disassembly and inspection to determine the root cause. The broken lockout can be caused by a stub letting go!

You just explained your problem when you said the hub was broken. If its like the 77 i had with the spicer hubs just junk them and get some Warns. Actually i still have the warns in my garage from that truck.
