just a puller? You dont have to undo a center bolt ????? if this is it then, will I have to have the thing pressed back on? Or am I missing a step here. Just bear with me I have never dealt with a ford and am learing as I go

Assuming your pump looks like mine (FS Ford truck), the pump shaft will end flush with the pulley. There will be a threaded hole in the center of the shaft.
The puller is a "clamshell" type. Two jaws lock around the flange on the pulley, a bolt goes through the middle and threads into the pump shaft. Hold the bolt with one wrench, and back off the puller with another. Installation is the reverse. Thread the bolt into the shaft, crank on a nut to press the pulley back on. Like they said, you can borrow it from Autozone for a deposit. P/N 27031 |

IIRC you should have to remove the center bolt. The puller will also press it back on for you.
