'78/'79 F150/Bronco owners...

I need a set of headers for the 460 that will not interfere with the driveshaft, radius arms, etc...

My Bronco currently has long tube, fenderwell exit headers on it, and they ride about 1.5" directly over the radius arms. The headers will be crushed on my first outing.

Anyways, what headers are ya'll running? Are you happy with them? Clearance issues? Any reccommendations?

I've got my eye on these Hedman's that look like they'd do the trick and handle all the abuse. 14ga tubes.

Check out Sanderson headers. They make a nice set of block huggers.

I don't know anything about the Headman's on the 460 swap but I used the 400 Headman long tube headers and they dumped way to close to the crossmember on my Bronco. I had to run the DS pipe under the crossmember otherwise it would of hit the driveshaft.

Thanks...I remember seeing that picture in your '79 resto thread on FSB

Isn't the Bronco and F150 the exact same from the B-pillar forward?

I've got the L&Ls and they work well.

Don't have any pics from underneath, but here is my daughter installing the pass side.

Those look nice. What did you pay for them might I ask? I'm trying to find something around $300 tops. I only paid $600 for the whole truck...

I got mine as part of a parts truck I bought so I actually got them for nada.
Looks like they are about $550 from L&L directly. 2nd one down.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. If I can save up a bit more, I'll probably order me a set when I find a buyer for mine. They look like they'd work perfect...

I got the LandL on mine and they are the best ive seen. I want some outside the frame LandL but I dont want to pay for another set. The flanges are super thick and they seem to last a long time.
