I have a 97 f150 witg the 4.2 2wd. I am wanting to hook up an aftermarket tach. but need some help. The directions say to hook one wire to the white wire with a pink stripe from the power control module. It should be on the pass. side of the truck. I looked under the hood but can't find the wire. Where is the PCM? There is one huge cluster of wires on the fire wall on that side and I looked for the wire they told me to but I couldn't find it. Am I looking in the wronge spot?

the huge wire you speak off is the ECM plug - the wires are outside the cab - the ecm is under the pass kick panel - it is around 1.5" x6x7
but i dont know which wire it is -
