Feed Truck

Thought you Ford guys might appreciate this. This truck belongs to one of my cattle customers, it has a 5000 pound capacity feed box on the bed, 44" TSL's and a 300 six.

Pretty cool riding with a 76 year old man on 44's

Yeah, he is a hell of an old man, runs about 1200 head of mother cows on river bottom land by himself, and we probably don't need 44's but they sure help.

His reason for 44's is when hauling 2.5 tons of feed across muddy flats he needs flotation, if you consider that fertilizer trucks around here run 66" tires then 44's aren't overkill.

well i live in the north east and my parents have a cabin by austin and neither really have land that would require 44's but if he does have cows in a river bottom i can see the need.

lot of the spray trucks around here run like a 40 inch or so ground hawg, real skinny but still tall.
