super dooty axles

ive searched, and cant find what im trying to find out, i have a set of axles from a super duty, solid dana 50, and a 10.25, im trying to find out if i need to change the carriers when i re-gear to 5.13s from 3.73s

Then you haven't paid enough attention. There are no carrier breaks on either of these axles

well, thats what i was looking for, since theyre arent any breaks, i guess thats why i couldnt find anything on it, thanks man

Make certain of the rear axle. The 99+ Super duties never came with a 10.25, only the 10.5 or Dana 80. There were earlier model trucks 1987+ that were called super duties (cab and chassis, F450 equivalent) but they were all duallies so again no 10.25 only Dana 70 or 80, and IIRC they did have rear disk brakes.

ok, ill check on that, i for whatever reason thought the f250 super had a 10.25, but maybe im wrong, i assume the id tags will give me the info i need?
