v10 problems

Ok I belong in the Dodge section but I need to pick you Ford guys brains for a bit. It dosnt realy belong here but its the only ford site(section) I know lol!! Anyways my boss shows up at work today he drives a 04 F-250 v10 I think, anyways its about the motor. When he went to leave he truck started right up and ran for a bit then died, Did this quite a few times. So then we cleaned off his battery cables because they had hella corosine on them. Clean them up put it back on and it wont turn over now!! Assesarys come on but does not turn over! Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance.

sounds like a security issue - the pcm is turning off the truck - and now it thinks you are trying to steal it - is the security light on ?

Could be the alternator if the battery is low enough on charge it won't run. Can you get it started and check the output from the alternator? Maybe have a diffrent battery you could try?
