06 f250 lookin to lift question about towing
sorry if this is in the wroung place....
anywho I have a 06 Ford supah Duty thats my tow rig. Im tossing around the idea of puttin a lift on it 6 or 8 ish but my question is would that screw up the towing? I tow a 28 foot camper not gooseneck or 5th wheel it attaches under teh bumper deal. Im also goin to tow my mud rig around so any thoughts on it I understand i can buy a drop down neck but didnt know if that was wise. more input fellahs |

So now that the spelling issue is cleared up, lift kits and towing do not go together. If you want a small lift and lets say some 315's or 35's thats one thing but anything more than that puts you into big gay truck land. To me saftey is the key and a big lift would put you into a unsafe area.

with 6" or 8" of lift, you should be lookin at 44's. thats alot of sidewall to tow with. leave the tow rig a tow rig. thats what they are for.
