'67 F350 Crewcab

no tech, just wanted to show off the newest member of the fleet. Picked her up today in the rain... I'm still thawing out. Solid cab, good glass, D70, and looks like a 352FE/FMX. not running at the moment.. should run, but its kinda crappy outside to work on it and the shop is full of other projects.

Plan is full resto, 4x4 conv. big gas engine or Cummins.

Sweet score. I'd just restore the interior and drivetrain and drive it like it is. I love the vintage look.

Very nice, I'll definately be watching this build! I've tried finding a 67-72 crew cab for years now with no luck, I'd take my current 67 SWB apart and put all the running gear under the crew.

Nice! I've wanted a crew cab in that body style for a long time now! They look so sweet when they're all fixed up!

MX-HD. Should have a collar in the lower rad hose with a heater hose running to the trans.

No progress yet. It has a 460 cobbled in, needs refitted or better yet diesel'd. Otherwise all stock with the obligitory C6, NP205, D44/D60, A/C, dual tanks. It's in great shape except for a crumpled bedside, absofawkinlootly zero rust.

I also have a '78 SuperCab 4X4 in the beginning of a frame off resto. Frame is powder coated and I just need to build the motor and re-assemble the truck. Time and money, time and money, they never come in the right combination.

Friend of mine is putting a 69 CC on some semi C-channel to put the drivetrain out of his 69 single cab in. 5.9, ZF-5, 205, dana 60 and dana 80. Should be pretty bitchin. As it is now

There's one I pass outside Middletown everyday... I've never seen it move. I know where one is in Napa too. I think they are cool, but I have no use for them... If you need an inquiry made about em though, call me.

I like the Powerstroke too, But.. I would just buy one in a perfectly good '97 crewcab (I dont really like the SD that much), and for this application I dont want fly by wire and all the electronics that go with them.

I looked at a 2nd gen Dodge with a 12v Cummins in it today.. looks like it would be real tight (I know its been done) plus hydroboost issues, intercooler issues, trans and clutch issues that require large $$ too.

I'm following a CTD swap in a '69 Ford on another board and I'll see how his turns out.

I found some truly sexy BB Ford crate engines out there.. way beyond what I need tho.

edit: turns out the trans is a C6.. and the engine has been worked on (hot tanked for sure...rebuilt?? dont know) so I may have something better than the 352..
