Any C4 experts here? Need help - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

How hard is it to check the planetary gear set on a C4 transmission? I think im getting screwed by a guy who sold me what he told me was a Performance Automatic transmission. But after a call to PA im pretty sure its not, so I called him back and now hes claiming that it was rebuilt by someone with PAs components including there 6 pinion planetary gear set. So id like to take it apart and verify, but dont know how hard that is. Anyone help me out?
