I'd probably go as far as finding some stupidly high pressure line and remote mounting that little bastard in a sensible gawddamned location. Then I'd take that old one and put it in the glove box for when the new little cork sucker you just bought goes bad.... just my 2 cents

browns diesel has the cheapest arp studs I can find. around 365 dollars shipped
The best egr delete is adams from firstcoastdieselperformance. its expensive but its a full egr delete. like 800 but very worth it SCT go to eric at innovative diesel and get a custom tuned sct. Hes the best in the buisness in my opinion on the 6.0 trucks. like 500 with three custom tunes. Your also going to need an egt guage and a tranny guage. Screw RPM outlet. They sent me the wrong exhasut on my truck and it took them 3 freaking months to send me the wrong part again. I made my own downpipe after that fiasco. |

Sorry to jack your post with disgruntle ramblings there JF. I used to service a fleet that had 12 2003's. It's enough to cause a man to bitch about it everytime the opportunity arises. |

Make sure that if it's still under warranty 5 yr, 100k powertrain that he's ok losing that. Almost all Ford dealers are really cracking down on any mods these days.
If you're going to tear the intake manifold off (to do the EGR delete) then i would seriousely consider replacing the oil cooler while you're there. They are one of our top failures. They're kind of pricey..... but not near what it will cost in time and parts if it fails. If you do replace it be sure to replace the screen in the reservoir and be VERY VERY VERY carefull to not get any dirt past that screen!! You may also want to put in the update STC bracket under the HP oil pump cover.... Its another common failure that will give you a no start and it all has to come back off.... wont really hurt anything though.
