Spindle/ knuckle question
I'm trying to do some custom work on my Dodge. I am wondering what is the size of the hole in the knuckle where the spindle goes into on 1966 to 1979 Ford Bronco or F150. Either the Dana 30 or Dana 44. The part of the spindle that fits into the hole of the knuckle is what I am concentrating on. I'm looking for a measurement of 3.900." Any information about the year or which dana it is would be helpful. Thanks

They are different fdor those years.
The 'Small hole' is the same size on all 30's and the drum 44's (and is, incidentally, the same size as the Chevy) - 6 bolt pattern The large hole went on the Disk brake EBs and all BBs - 5 Bolt pattern. Don't forget about the Scout stuff..... Good luck with whatever you are trying to do.

Dunno.... I have a D30 knuckle, a D60 Knuckle and a D44HD Closed-knuckle sitting on the floor... no 76-77.
Did you see Mr N's 44 guide... if not, do a search.... 'Littlekeylime' should do it.
