I'm using 97 D50 Hub/Rotor on 97 D60. The rotors contact the caliper bracket which is cast onto the knuckle. According to AutoZone website both rotors have a 79mm hat and 329mm diameter. I'm using D50 spindles but they are identical to my 1993 D60 spindles. I started to read Mr.N's article but getting some conflicting info.
The 60 and 50 spindles are identical and I got 97 D50 hub/rotor and 97 D60 knuckles. Its not by much. It looks like a little tiny bit of grinder work and it'll work. But I wanna make sure before I do anything. I also thought about lathing down the rotor.
is that the 60 knuckle ? if so its not a 97 - its pre 95. in 95 the caliper and caliper slide bolt on with two big bolts. that is the early 94 and down knuckle. let me look up a earlier rotor pn
I just went throught that this past weekend in my '88 KP D60 converting DRW to SRW. I ordered parts for a '96 because thats what the Napa I deal with at work had in stock, and not the '88 rotor/hub assembly. Knowing there was clearly some difference between KP and BJ axles I figured it was worth a shot. It failed, so I waited a day for the '88 rotors to come in and went on perfectly.
