Sorry in advance for the newbish post, This is my first TTB Ford, and I have only had it for a week.
I get a popping noise when moving from forward to reverse or hitting the brakes. Jacked the front up and checked out the ball joints and tie rods, everything seems tight. The truck only has 127K on it.
A Dana 60 from the same year is an easy bolt in swap. I used to do F250 TTB 50 bushings all the time. They are a PITA. I would use a torch to remove the OE bushings and sleeves and replace them with shouldered Energy Suspension ones. We had a special tool to install the new center pivot bushings without smashing the sleeves. The center mount on the TTB puts everything in a bind, bad suspension idea IMO.
