not gonna be a dash till i get the cage done once its done i will build a dash for now ive just got a little mount for m guages oh shit bar will also get changed when i do the cage.

So the truck is missing under load and trying to accelerate.
I replace all plugs with NGK v-powers replaced a 02 sensor and added some fuel injector cleaner.
I replaced the coil packs just before the winter i geuss they could be bad anyone know how to check them?
Also probably gonna replace the fuel filter.

Changed the alternator today its charging now so thats good but its still missing

Yea.... felt like an idiot when i found the problem. It ended up that it was out of gas, i didnt think to check since a few months ago i filled the cell up and hadent run since then so i geusss someone syphoned it out or it evaporated ohh well 5 gallons later and it runs great atleast i know all my sensors are in working order since i checked em all looking for the problem!

Glad you got the missing problem resolved. I don't think a full cell of fuel would evaporate. Possibly a leak though....
Something to keep an eye out for. Put some carboard under the truck by the cell and you could see if it gets wet.

Or it could have been stolen like you suspected.

I doubt it was stolen its been in the barn the whole time and im pretty sure it dosent leak but idk hasent lost anymore fuel so im happy.
Truck does have a death wobble problem anyone have sugestions as to what would cause it.
caster is at 4* and the truck is set at 1/8'' tow in and the driver side is .25'' less wheel base than the passenger side. drag link to trac bar angle is pretty close and about the same length.
Both king pins are rebuilt with new springs, the springs were tightened and loosened 5 times or so could this wear them out enough to cause death wobble.

Did some more searching and im gonna try shimming the KP bushings im thinking this is causing my problem and may also add a steering stabilizer. ill report back with my findings.

Good looking ranger. I noticed you had some -weld your own- headers in a previous pic, are those what you went with and how hard were they to do. Im working with almost the same thing you have but mines a 351w so a little tighter space.

I was going to build a set but i ended up getting away with using the headman swap headers still had to make new exhaust but it works.
Ive made headers before though for either turbo applications and N/A applications, there really not as hard to make as people think little patience and a little for thought goes along way.
