Looks like I MAY be running thru the south/southwest ... GA to OR via CA.
This would be mid August.
Buddy of mine suggested that an oil cooler would be a good addition to the rig (69 Bronco, 289, 3-speed, newer 3 core rad) for driving thru those 'warmer' areas, like the Mojave...
I did collect one of the oil coolers that sandwiches the oil filter (CHP 5.0???) and hooks into the cooling system. Would this be sufficient, or is the whole thing a waste of time and effort?
Never really dealt with this type of heat before, so thought I would ask here.
