Im kinda new to the ford world, ive read very briefly in a few post that springs/ leafs from mid 80's trucks can be installed to lift my 79 f-150? is this true? Also so what trucks do the leafs have to come out of? Thanks
Well to start off you are going to get flamed badly. Any 3" wide spring will work. Taking out the bottom overload spring and installing several other springs of various lengths will help alot. The front is simple as new coils/shocks.
