Are dana60 and dana 50 hubs the same
im trying to find a 86 f-350 dana60 srw hub and rotor asembly but only listing they got is a dana 44hd and the people at the parts department only knows what the computer is telling them. so my question is can i use and dana50 hub and rotor from the same year instead? i know the locking hub will fit but i was just wondering about everything else. let me know what you think thanks much appreciated.

Yup. The Dana 50 TTB hubs will bolt directly to a D60. Just be certain you have a D50 hub! If your hitting the wrecking yards, the easiest way to tell if your looking at a D50 is the u-joints. The D50 has circle clips on the outside of the u-joints. The D44HD has the clips on the inside of the yoke, so the u-joint caps are flush with the yokes.
What will swap: The hubs, lockouts, brakes, bearings, seals. What wont swap: The knuckle, the spindle. Thats it
