looking for 3 to 1 for 205 or bolt up case

have a buggy with 460fi,c6 and 205 case. is there any lower case that will bolt up. 205 has like 200-1 and looking for 300-1 for low range. other cases come to mind. rev 60 drivers side droop.

I think the LoMax gears are available for the 205.
Or you can do a 1356 fixed yoke with 2.69:1 ratio.

Send a message via Yahoo to seemoremud
Last I checked LoMax wasn't available for the Ford cases, and they weren't planning to make it available any time soon

check out summer machine he makes 3.1 for the ford 205, otherwise id get a klune or black box underdrive - they have a 2.72 low it will give more options and they are both around 7" long

SumNer maybe? I found a sumner machine, checked the website, 4x4 stuff but no 3to1 ford 205 mentioned. Figure a place would advertize something like that, especially if they are the only ones making it?

bw 1345 and bw 1356 tcases found in all kinds of 80's on up ford 4x4's will bolt up, 2.72:1 but they are chain driven tcases

Don't have room for a doubler, have to stick to just 1. i was hoping for a 205 with a 300-1 or different case.

Chain drive or not, the 1356 cases are VERY stout. I'd just swap in a 1356 from a Bronco (flange mount-no slip yoke)

What about a 90's bw 1356 with the slip yoke?

yup 31 spline on the out put, i heard at one time there was a company that made a 3 to 1 for a 203 box and i wish someone would make a 3 to 1 for the 205. that might be cool to have a double with 3 to 1 in a 203 and 3 to 1 in your 205

You're an idiot. Someone does make a 3:1 for the 205, as was mentioned a few posts up. They just don't make one for a Ford case.

You're posting in a ford forum-what the fuck did you think they were talking about?

A 205. That's what he said he was talking about. Yeah, just went back and re read it. Pretty sure he was talking about a 205. Go the fuck away. It isn't polite for children to speak until spoken to.

Yeah flaming is fun when people are stupid and I know things are getting pretty dumb around here lately. But from post #1 we've been talking about ford transfercases and powertrain. So what does name calling and stating someone makes a 3:1 for a chevy 205 bring to the thread other than derail it and turn it into a bitch fest.

sometimes i have dump moments but i knew what i was talking about and i know that there is a low max kit for the dodge and chevy pass side drop that is the 3to1, ive looked into it, they send you a whole new case and gears to go inside and u reuse a few parts and i would like to see a 3to1 for a ford 205 case. i sure am glad that someone else relized what i was talking about. i love my doubler.
