What are the specs on the engine you are planning on using? A 600hp small block sounds awesome. I'm assuming stroker?

I've seen it done with a 351W stroked to 427, but to get that power out of a small block takes lots of money....

This place must be getting tamer?

When I spent a lot of time here people would have already been ripping this guy a new one for not having posted pics yet... lol

I think everyone is just hoping it's true so we can have some new content to drool over.... I know I am... pretty freakin cold outside so I'm just wasting time inside looking at crap on the internet and being lazy.

I overlooked the 600hp small block because most people exxagarate horsepower ratings. I run a 428SCJ in my 1972 Ford and it's not even putting out 600hp so I would have to see this motor to believe it.

On a side note if it does exist don't plan on it lasting very long, those big stroked out windsor's run like the wind but the rod throw angle is so bad they eat rod bearings and wrist pins in 30,000 miles or less on the street so in the woods at high rpm look to rebuild it every season or so.

Well, that and he wants to know if he did anything wrong but is pretty vague on the specific details

Funny how everybody seems to be building 600hp+ motors these days. And a small block, to boot. I have to wonder how many of them are just adding up the " Xtr3me! horsepower increase!" advertised on the sides of the bolt on boxes.

You posted a build thread without any proof of something being built. Sounds like a cool build, but so far you fail

yeh, in reality, even at 427", a n/a 600 hp deal is a fairly rowdy engine, and about 5k to build in parts alone.
however, i would like to see a couple more build threads in the ford section, we are gettin thin in here..

Since this guy went MIA thread hi-jack on!

My rig has been built longer than most here have been members

I'm currently collecting parts to build a serious mall crawling poseur suv out of the wife's exploder... got some cools plans for it. After that is done I can finally build me the new race truck I really want out of my current parts. Guess I need to do build threads in here

Didn't you already do that with a Ranger you had

skip all the "in between" steps and you save thousands of $$ and years of nights in the garage.

no this one will be different (atleast I'm trying to convince myself)

It's a cheap exploder, not a newer and still financed one like the ranger was. It must remain streetable and full bodied. I'm not allowed to drive it in places called sledge hammer, jack hammer, pin ball line, tank trap, butt crack, sluice box etc etc etc

I will still have my buggy or racer to be a complete asshole in
