Great job on the truck! I love that rear bumper and plan on copying it with a swing-out on my Dodge Diesel.

Man that thing is AWESOME!!! Have you looked at the orbit eyes Deaver springs yet? I'd definatly loose the block but I wouldnt want to have a really arched spring either cause they ride like poop. Gotta be a better combo for a DD/weekend warrior.
I love the Ex man keep the upgrades/updates comming. |

Awesome build. I have a 99 v10 250 that I cant even give away. I was thinking about selling my jeep and wheeling it. I know you said you have a front 60, but what did it come out of? Also, what gears are you running? Also, what amount of lift? I looked and couldn't find much. my tuck has a front leveling kit but it is STIFFFFF! I doubt it would flex worth a shit.

Wet sanding with 1500 and then buffing with auto polish makes lenses look like new.

I hope its ok if I keep putting wheeling pics in my build/tech thread
Thursday night, three guys got stuck out on the snomobile trail, so one of my buddies goes out to rescue them and ends up breaking his jeep really bad. He broke a front axleshaft, the rear driveshaft and his winch..this left him with 1 wheel drive..the front diff was welded. I was unable to help out friday night, but they went out again and got 2 of the trucks out, and left my buddies jeep and the worst stuck truck for me on saturday. First up was getting my pals jeep up a long rocky hill. He was too far down to winch, so i just hooked on and pulled him up....i thought it was going to be easier than it was, but the jeep was usless with just 1 wheel drive ![]() here are the vids so far Excursion on boggers jeep rescue 1 - YouTube Excursion on boggers jeep rescue 2 - YouTube Excursion on boggers jeep rescue 3 - YouTube Excursion on boggers jeep rescue 4 - YouTube buddies driveshaft ![]() I then went back down the hill to get the other truck that was hung up in a swamp ![]() we decided to winch him up and out ![]() ![]() ![]() a few other pics ![]() ![]() I've got a few more vids to upload...will post them soon |

Don't know how I missed this the whole time, but it sounds like a great build. I'll have to check the pics at home.

Small tech update
My powersteering cooler (AKA my old tranny cooler) cracked yesterday. I don't know whether it was due to the high pressure pump and cold temperatures -20c, or it was just not strong enough to handle the power steering duties. I didn't think the low pressure power steering fluid had more pressure than the transmission cooling lines, but I could be wrong. ![]() ![]() Anyways, I just threw in the stock cooler for now....Im sure it wont get too hot during the winter months |

Took the words right out of my mouth. I don't think the low side on the power steering would have anywhere near the pressure to crack the transmission cooler, maybe just a couple psi.

Thats funny.
The conversation before they hit the hole: "Do you thing we can make it man?" "Oh I have a Jeep and it has a "Trail Rated" badge on it. OF COURSE it can make it". LOL You should have tried to yank it out with a recovery strap...would have been funner.
