re-index BW4405 clockwise?

I am trying to fit a Ford 4L V6 SOHC engine from 97 Explorer with a Ranger 5 speed trans and the BW4405 transfer case also from the Explorer (have one that flipped...) into a 95 Jeep YJ. the transfer case is mounted in such angle that it sticks down and takes away from ground clearance. Is it possible to to re-fit the transfer case (index it or clock it) with some kind of adapter so that the rear output shaft and the front output shafts are on the same plane. another words, looking at the transfer case from behind, right at the rear output shaft, index the transfer case clock-wise about 30 degrees? also, if it is possible, what will it do to the internal lubrication?
