Has anyone gone down/up committee crossing in the past couple of weeks?

Thinking about going up this weekend. Saw the ice slab going to the first crossin but no winch doesn't sound like a good time coming back out.

if rattlesnake road to committee crossing is even open all the way to the lake im sure committee trail wont be much better than the other part of it.

That's kind of the answer I was thinking also. That doesn't seem too fun without a winch in the group.

Call the Campground.

IIRC they control the Gate & would have good info on trail conditions.
