Travel Management

Not specific to Fordyce but this is worth the time to watch it. The guy's voice kinda puts you to sleep but keep watching.

Actually there is a part near the end that makes me happy. I think it is a sheriff in Shasta or Placer county that says he will not enforce the road closures.

I watched the whole thing they had some very good points about the problems the forest service has brought on. I think this video needs to bee seen more by everyone including the non-wheeling community so they can see how they are losing thier camping areas.

Interesting video. I am still stuck at the part where the forest service has an annual budget of 6billion dollars and the best way they can use that money is waste countless hours on 155 meetings that solve nothing and just close roads, because closing public land so the local economies suffer is the answer. It was interesting to see key places high lighted in that video, places that I went to as a kid with my pops and they are now being threatened or already shutdown. Truly sad. Thanks for sharing Chris.

very well produced. i agree 100%. the forest service is now in the business of closing the forest rather than management or access. first they came for the off-roaders. then they came for the hunters and campers. soon they will come for the fisherman, backpackers, birdwatchers, snow shoers, skiers and everybody that wants to enjoy the woods.
