And no power steering did it once with 32s and a lock rite when I was still almost stock, made all the winch hills

Question

Just curious, How were the water levels this weekend? I am planning on heading up there next weekend and was looking for a heads up.

Thanks,
Ron

the crossing were fine. 1 still has the big hole in the middle that will swallow 42's(trust me), 2 and 3 are plain jane, 4 is still moving but nothing of concern. my dog swam across them all.

Water was cake. They increased the flow a bit but it barely hit our rockers.

Jimmy, I think I know what you are saying here, but I doubt that everyone else does. There are three main crossings on the trail, as traditionally run from the Indian Creek Capmground to Meadow Lake, with an extra one on a different watershed at the Sierra Trek staging area, and still another one on the shortcut out past Fordyce Lake.

Can you clarify?

Thanks for the clarification, Ron.

That picture makes me look pissed off -- I musta been sitting on a splinter or something. You can see that the picture is too dim -- that's because the sunburn I have on my ever-expanding forehead was so bright that it was throwing off the exposure! Idiot shoulda worn a lid!

I did miss your margaritas, tho, Ron... you do 'em up in style. So well that I'm thinking of starting a FOR (Friends of Rollie) group just so that I can arrange my schedule better to enhance the chances of my sharing off your blender.

I got denied the left line on WH3 because of carb issues

That right line was a bit tougher then usual, ended up on my side like all the rest.

Here's a few shots

http://s185.photobucket.com/albums/x...%201st%202007/

didn't get any of WH3 because the camera woman (my wife) was in the passenger seat for WH3

Had fun, i'll be back up here in a few weeks once I re-weld some cracked/ripped tubing.

Not unless they lift the fire restrictions. As of July 2nd the Fordyce is off limits to Off Highway Vehicle use (internal combustion engine.)

Well right now it's until we get some moisure but we'll see if they re-evaluate. It could be overreaction to the Angora fire. So for now we need to respect the forest order that created the restrictions and work on them to get it opened back up. We'll keep contact with the Forest Service and see where this goes.

Does this apply to all vehicles (IE: Stock Vehicles) or just OHV registered? I could not find specifics on the USFS website.

Thanks
Ron
