First Time Fordyce

Hate to ask, and feel free to flame me for asking, but I was just wondering if I could make Fordyce on 31's on a 99 TJ with 4.88's and an ARB in the front. I made the Rubi fine last year without any problems but if my memory serves me correct clearance is a bit of an issue. Any info would be of great help.
P.S. My buddy did the same in an 01 XJ on 33's open front and posi rear and 4.56's. He was also wondering if it was possible.

There are less bypasses on Fordyce. There are some spots that can be difficult on 31s. Won't know unless you try...

go to Sierra Trek for your first trip. Lots of help in all the hard spots and a fun event too.

Would love to do Sierra Trek, however as I am married, my CFO (Chief Financial Officer for the rednecks) won't let me spend the $200 to run the event because I am a poor white boy.

$200 may be less expensive than going on your own for the first time.

Trek requires a 33" tire and this year I thought it was $160.

Hows the CFO feel about body damage

I saw an early Mustang at the Southern end of the Tahema Wildlife Area one year while pig hunting so anything is possible. Granted it never made it back out on it's own power.

If in doubt then go with a group or do a partial run

I won't go unless I can get a winch going with me, and thats not looking good. I was just wondering about the clearance. We may end up doing the 'Con again or doing a partial run. Been to the first creek crossing several times but not past it, always wanted to.

take friends with winches and pick really good lines and you might *possibly* make it.
