Cody - Thanks for the GPS coordinates. I wondered what they were.
Are you going to the Rubicon with us for labor day? Were going in Tahoe to little sluice and back to Tahoe. JDunn

Im useing a garmin e-trex vista hcx handheld unit. I got it so i can use it one my motorcycle, bicycle, and vehicles. It is good for mapping, but not that great if you want to use it for driving directions. I havent bought all the software yet either.

I use a Garmin 530
The Garmin 530 is a handheld with color screen that is also a radio. I use these as we need the communication on the snowmobiles in the winter. If I was only using it in my Cruiser I would be sure to get a larger unit with a bigger screen. They are much nicer to use. I also highly recommend the National Geographic California Topo disc set available at REI for around $100. It has 6 CDs just covering California and the detail is excellent. It works very well with the GPS for planning and looking at routes when you get home.
