Meadow lake to Eagle Lakes Rd

I have only gone through the trail to the commitee river crossing and out Cisco, but i plan to go all the way out to Meadow lake in a few weeks. Just wondering how long it will take to get back to the staging area once we get out? Rigs will be trailered, but are street legal to drive the highway back. Also, about how long does it take to get from the commitee turnoff to Meadow Lake(with no problems hopefully). Also are there signs leading back to 89 from the lake?

your better off parking at cisco grove campground and running the trail from eagle lakes to meadow and back down to the commitee crossing.

I've made it through that river crossing twice, but it was with my old rig which was a lot taller than the one I've got now. What do you think the flow will be like the weekend of July 25-26?

Ya, it's a long way around from Meadow to Eagle Lakes.

Committee to meadow can be done in an hr or so with a small group and no issues. From there you have another 1-1.5 hrs back to the cisco or eagle lakes exit. We'll be doing a similar trip at the end of July.

Is that 1-1.5 hrs taking the highway or coming back down and exiting out comittee and the long gravel road back to cisco?

When will you be there? We're heading up thursday night(23rd) to get an early start on friday. Only 2 rigs in our group, but more are always welcome. If you guys are gonna be there around that time and want some company, we're always looking for new guys to wheel with.

I'd have to bypass 3, or add a couple minutes for winching, or longer on account of your bad spotting and a shattered wheel

About 1.5 hrs down the Highway. That is actually the same weekend. We plan to head in Thursday morning from Eagle Lakes and camp at the nice spot after the 2nd creek crossing. Hang out Friday adn wheel around, run the rest of the trail Saturday to Meadow, camp and head home on Sunday. Two rigs in our group also with our wives, no kids.

AH nope cant blame your inability to make it on me I suppose yacker's spotting was the reason you couldn't make the time before seems to be a pattern here and it ain't the spotter

You're confusing the issue. Flat out not making it and shattering a rim and not making it are two different things.

Making It!

Maybe the pitbulls tires
Or a Mexican yelling Uno Mas will help you better than your past spotters!

I think the odds may be better with the 37's, with a little more room between the tires. My axle width is the killer, not full width, but wider than stock

Well I'm sure we'll see you guys. My rig is a white cherokee and the other is a red cj5(slightly longer than stock).
