Rockwell parts

I have two "bridges" that bolt to the 3rd members of rockwell axles. I used these to mount my anti-wrap bars before I went 4-link. One of the bridges still has the anti-wrap bar mounted to it.

These are sturdy pieces that I am not willing to ship, but they are FREE, so please get them out of my garage!!

Garbage day is Thursdays in my neighborhood, these will go in the trash if nobody wants them by NEXT Thursday.

I am a cheap ass and hate to throw anything away, but I cannot justify having these take up space in the garage.

My rockwell rig is linked though so I have no use for them.

Man, that sucks, I really hate to toss these, but they are really just in my way. It wouldnt be the ideal setup, but you could also use these to mount upper links if you triangulated them from the frame in.

Allied Waste is gonna hate you if you do. Man, just haul that stuff for scrap. I use the drums for bases on a stand, which helps get more crap off the floor. If you have four, you could weld some pipe on them and then weld a flat plate on top and have a pretty badass work table!

They took the rockwell bridges without bitching...I am willing to roll the dice on the 14 bolt drums. They are not worth my time to take to the scrap yard, and I dont want to "find" something to use them for...thus they will get shitcanned!

Ya'all need to get out some and make friends with a scrapper guy (or gal).
Give them stuff like this. They may know where some useable stuff is you can buy cheap when you need it.
Shit, I have 5 pickup box trailers and use 3 to collect up scrap iron, aluminum, electric motors, copper, etc. in them.
You gotta know someone that does this.
I clean up under a buddies shear and around his brake, also clean up scrap at a speed shop engine builder guy's. Most of the aluminum is "clean" (and all torn to shit), but it is seperated out, I do him a favor keeping his place clean, and I make a few bucks.
Just doing this makes us 10 times the "green" people of phony asses like Al Gore, and their phony ass carbon footprint bullshit.
I save up my "scrap money" and buy tools. Most scrappers save up to buy booze. I'm not really sure who is right !!!!!!!!

Unfortunately all the "scrappers" around here are like stray cats, you feed them once and they will never go away, then they will start stealing shit so they can scrap it. Its a bummer, but it is much less headache to just toss stuff in the garbage. If I had a place to keep extra steel "garbage" like this then I would scrap it myself, but garage space is at a premium and I cannot tolerate useless stuff just laying around.

You need to find a place where you can have a scrap barrel beside the garage. I don't know of a single person without a scrap bin in their garage/shop.


Those 14 bolt drums work awesome as a stand base, I have a buddy with several vices and pipe stands on D70 drums so you can roll them around the shop where they're needed and they don't tip over.
