Free, 2 yr old, Full Bread German Shepard - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

I have a full bread show quality German Shepard I'm trying to give away. I got him last December in Cotati, from the breeder. He was free and didn't come with papers, but I have all the info on where I got him and they could fill you in on his history prior to December. He is 2 years old and doesn't bark at all at my house. I've sent him to stay with my sister-in-law in Petaluma while on vacation and she said she did hear him bark, but I've only heard him once. I got him thinking he'd be a house/family pet, but my wife had other plans. My yard just isn't big enough for an outside dog, plus I'm sad that he doesn't get enough attention. He has all his shots and is in excellent health. The vet said he has good hips too. He is 90 lbs and is a classic looking dark German Shepard, the kind you see on Hogan's heroes. He's very friendly, has a great temperament, and gets along with other dogs ( we also have a 18 lb. poodle and they are great together). He isn't fixed.

We're in Fairfield.

Wow great price on a good breed of dog. good luck.. I'd take him but I've got a 80lb dog in back yard already.

if i did'nt have 2 big-ass dogs already i'd definetly come get him. hope he ends up at a good home.

German shepard rescue is out. They require you have the dog fixed. I'm not going to have his gonads cut off.

Curious why you won't have him neutered. Are you going to breed him w/o papers? If I'm not mistaken neutered dogs live longer.

No, I'm not going to breed him, I've only had him for 8 months, I'm going to get rid of him, and I just don't have the heart to do it. I'll let the next owner worry about it. I think it will change his personality.

Yea.. last time I had one neutered he gave me these really nasty looks for months afterward. sometimes you'd catch him out of the corner of your eye.. it would look like he was going to kill me
