Yup unfortunately you did. Nothing major just blew the alternator fuse earlier in the day and didn't check NY volt gauge enough and ran the battery dead. So dead it wouldn't take a jump but had a new battery delivered to the park and drove it up on the trailer after a 10 minutes! Had I seen you I would of stopped man. Should of came over!

Well guys I'm back. Took me a few days to get settled in with everything but here is the report.
Buggy= ![]() Really not much else to say. I did run into the issue posted above when I blew my fuse but my lack of checking the gauges is what led to the battery dying. I think it was from winching a guy in a fullsize bronco up and out of a nice little rock face after he gernaded his transfer case, that blew the fuse. Only thing I could think of. I did smash the drivers side skin into a tree at the same time it went dead though. That was really the only scratch on the whole thing minus a few on the diffs. Pictures I sent to PJ but really didn't get any. A few the first day I took it up to wheel around the comp course just to get a feel for it, and didn't do anything too hard core seeing it was only me there and no one else in the whole damn park! Hopefully he'll post up those couple though. Chris

Never posted these after my last time home so thought I'd throw them up now that I'll be back again at the end of the month, with hopefully some better shots of the buggy in action. These were just my first day out, testing things and seeing how it worked. Was snowing, so I didn't stick around and didn't get any out on the trails over the next two weekends.

Thanks PJ, I'm starting to round up my axle parts and plan on tearing my rig down in Nov. I know you said three months until you can start my chassis, about how long after you start will it be ready to ship? Also, what's the best way to get it up here? I think I will do the final assembly. The more I think about it there are to many little things I want to do myself. I'm sure we will talk before you start.

Hey guys it was a great trip home. Had a good time wheeling with PJ, RK and Cassidy. It was cool you guys came up from NC for the weekend to hit some trails. Gonna do everything I can to hit Harlan in the spring with you guys. The buggy again did great! Had a little trans cooling issues but hope I got it worked out now. Most of it was my fault for not cutting the shifter gate so rode a good bit in 3 so I could hit R quick if needed. Flushed the fluid, put a new finned pan on and couldn't get the thing over 160 the following weekend. Have another cooler though if needed and will probably make a mount the next time I'm home and install that as well to keep the trans temps down. I'll throw a couple more pics up here in a minute!
Patrick I heard your buddy is getting a chassis from PJ! That is good shit right there. You get yours worked out yet? Keep me posted man. Depending on how things go over here, I might get home for Thanksgiving if you are up for another Rausch run. I will only be around for 6-8 days if I get home so traveling is out of the question for me as I have to spend the first day coming back from NC picking up my "new" truck. Let me know!

Yep it is! We hit just about everything challenging across the street first thing in the morning. I have no issues with the turning, and you know how tight Rausch can be. Back up here and there to get around some trees but nothing to worry about. PJ said to me about rear steer, but I'm glad (at this point) I don't have it. Everything really works well man.

M&M Offroad "The HITMAN" Build
Cool... I don't really wanna get into rear steer at this point... I may set it up to accept it later though...
I don't really wanna hijack this beautiful thread with my junk, but, I can tell you this... It's a 2 seated TJ front... I'm trying to force PJ into being not so much PJ in the rear. Sounds dirty like that... Let's just say that we're working out some ideas... I think that I'm gonna be #21, so hopefully, you'll see pretty soon... Hope you don't mind if I pilfer some of your interior ideas... |

I think you'll be fine without the rear steer as you'll be even shorter than I am with a 2 seater. If you aren't running rocks with the width that Patrick has you should be good. I hear you on the rear, but I am impressed with how everything came out (that sounded worse I think). I'll just wait to see!
