Grandma's boy Hairdo part 2

We started making some progress on it after talking about it for a while so here we go.rig will be built for trail wheeling along with a few comps here and across the border, plan's are to run a couple dirt riot sports and some track race's around here and WA,OR.Has a bit of everything thrown into it so here are some specs and of course some picture's.....enjoy..



-fully built bcc chassis

-built 3rz allot of goodies

-full spider 9s f/r, yukon component drop out's,300m engagment airlocker gears, 50* steering..

-300m inners/outers from spidertrax

-yukon super joints,drive slugs

-evolution EMF joints

- alum links

-hughe's built t350

-atlas 2spd

-hci motorsports full taco skins

-rear trailing arms going to build in house

-radflo coilovers,and bypass shocks

-custom fuel cell

-39's with some kmc wheels that we like

-dual battery's,gps,all the goodies

-prp seats hippy seat's..list go's on will post specs tomorrow belly,roof height,w.b,approx weight goal..here are a couple pics...
54" wide chassis, will have a big botty on her, big cell and spare room..the start of it..



kinda built around the fiberglass for tube map.



about 110" w.b will be very roomy...

mocked up dual battery tray to work also as a x-member in the front, winch tray will tie into it later and front rad skid..

not finished yet but you get the idea..


seat mounts are next..

rear suspension mounts for trailing arms and upper links.

all double shear mounts

some griffen product to keep things cool..trans,steering,engine oil

first pedal



link material is here yea! evo hiems for everything



2 coolers semi mounted.



front bumper



revised lower shock mounts to clear steering better



bumper led bar soft mounted looks pimp will be a amber led for final



more links see how much rear steer we can get.



upper shock mounts, would have been nice to have 14s and not stick through as much but it can use up all of the 16 in the front so meh..

rear mounted rad and trans cooler finding there home, building some swing mounts so trans cooler can swing down for more viewing for trail wheeling also.

rad also came out of race truck that wont be used anymore.

cooler swung down just need to build some more mounts off the top of fuel cell mounts.


start of rad lines.

sorting out suspension limits, figured out steering,and where the hell the airbumps are going to go.

little bumper arms will get cut down after




so today's goal build new header,engine skid,rear belly t-case skid finished off, build lip for steering and installed,and maybe start on front bumps....

Can you tell me what engine/trans adapter you used? What stall is the converter?

Using this plate adapter from LC http://www.lceperformance.com/Trans-...-p/1033034.htm

running the stock tacoma flexplate, waiting on Rusty from TCS to finish up the custom Torque Converter

and i am pumped I cant seem to keep the parts coming in fast enough

steering sorted out


bumps will limit on the lip


just need to add some bump pads on the lip.

engine skid started

the right quad tube bypass from the race truck are in it now for mock up.

start of the upper mounts..


have not been able to spend as much time on it latley but now that other projects are clearing up we can focus more time on it shortly....
