When we did it at Johnson Valley, everybody just kind of pitched in and helped each other, it was a lot like fixing a broken rig on the trail. And it's fun to bench race with the other guys as well.

Wayne, fully commited to participating in this. I'm on Fox coilovers and bypasses. Like everyone else I'll volunteer my trailer and tools.

Does anyone have any RC footage so I can have a look at some terrain? My Freind who know U4 racing pretty good says there is enough terrain to make the suspensions work enough. I found some but could not see terrain much.
With RC being June 1 thru 3 what is the consensus on timing? may 30 and 31? There are 21 showing interest now that's a lot for 2 days and 1 guy. I don't thing the Dust Junkies are gonna come out and help with this one. We would need some guys to valve shocks. My value is not in the excellent way I re valve a shock but the many times I have done it wrong in the past to learn what to do. I am not sure how to work that out, I am stretched to do 5 a day.

I guess the secret got out that that Wayne is ok at tuning shocks
![]() Glad to see so many people interested in this ![]() Wayne, let me know if there's anything we can do to help. If this happens someone will need to work something out with Rausch to make arrangements. If there's too much going on at Rausch being right before RCQ, maybe we could work something out with AOAA to go there, just an idea.

I was going to get your # this week and give you a call about this. I'm definately down for your help tuning. Big thanks to Smiley for getting the ball rolling on this. How many rigs do you think can be done in a 2 day time period? I was figuring on coming in Thursday morning, but can probably make it Wednesday if needed. I know you had viper set you up with an assortment of springs for your KOH tuning session, do you think the same can be done for RCQ?

I could help with the valving. I have several portable vices for this purpose. I need a date and to know I can be available. I am OK @ tuning and have learned a lot working with Joel over the past few years but still have lots more to learn........ I have a bumper jack which works great for removing shocks for this task. We will need lots of air. subscribed

I'm in as a helping hand and tuning student. I'll jump at this chance to learn more. Can re-valve and re-work.

Definately would like to be in for this tuning session. We did some shock tuning at KOH but they still need some more.
I don't mind doing the revalving, I just need the advice on what needs to be changed.

This can be invaluable...... I still can't believe how many people are afraid to mess with their shocks. Huge gains in performance can be realized.

I'd be interested in this if there's time for non-race rigs. I haven't had much play time with my new jeep yet but it wouldn't hurt to have some people who know way more than me to dial in my bilsteins

As a non coilover-bypass-linked guy I would love to be part of this "class" so when I get rid of my leaf springs I will have an idea what I am doing. Once you get the details I would love to help out and learn. I could help out where needed to just get the learning experience and also am willing to pay to the training.

We could try to get PAC to send some springs for this, I know we already have a lot of springs from tuning Erik's car, but they're for 2.0 coilovers which wouldn't work for everyone.
