4 link and 3 link help
ok im building a suzuki samurai thats goiing to be used for alittle of eveything. light mud/trail/rock. mostly rock. im getting ready to build the frame and have never desighned a 4 or 3 link. Iv desided to go 4 link rear and probly 3 link front with full hydro.
my target wheel base is 104". and im going to be running 36" tsl sx tires. iv search and searched till im on information over load. can someone look over my desighn and critique it for me if it needs to be and im sure it dose. i would be very greatfull 4 link ![]() 4 link front ( just a thaught) ![]() i cant find a 3 link calc for some reason i know there out there but must be looking in the wrong places |

The first thing I see is that you have your entire front axle and rear axle weights listed as your unsprung weights. You should only have the axle weights (complete axle,tires,wheels,etc) and half of your link weight for your unsprung weight. Not having the right weights(at least ball park) will affect your as numbers. Front on the front numbers and rear on the rears.
