Cj5 drag link
My 67 Cj 5 has herms reverse rotation box mount and I am running 81 cj8 axles and at full lock to one side I hit the top of the diff. Anyone ever deal with this I was thinking of making a kinked drag link to avoid but I also want it safe.

You can do it. Hell, there is a company selling one as the answer to bump steer. Snake Oil, in that application. I would suggest using heavier tubing. I couldn't see how your box was mounted or anything, but it mighht be better to move the box forward a little. Did you just swap an Astro box in where your Ross was?
Edit: Just looked it up on Herm's site. I would call him and ask. He's a great guy, and will give you good advice. He's a little slow electronically, but he's been around long enough he knows the answer to your question.
