1 1/4" shock hoops?

Think I could get away with 1 1/4" dom shock hoops on the ol'ladys CJ 5. I'm trying to package these 12" ORIs and not cut the frame all up. Hoops would have support and tied into the cage. Whould 0.120 wall be good enough? Just a daily driver and some trail riding. 5.3 genn 3 motor.

I think they would be fine if the tied in to each other and the cage. The ones on my tj were 1 1/2 and they were only tied in to each other

That is what I was thinking, seeing that most trophy trucks run .120" 4130 plate for their coilovers and bypasses, um, it is all about design.
