th350 converter?

so going to be running a th350 behind my 6.0L in my buggy, i have the early long crank 6.0 which is the same as a SBC so i dont need the special spacer or flexplate. but the problem im running into is the stock flexplate is a 11.500 bolt center which is really hard to find a stall converter in and AA doesnt make a flat flexplate to run a 10.750 pattern. so my question is the only converter i can find that is reasonably priced is a hughes that is 2k stall. is that going to be enough with 5.13s, 2.6 D300 and 43" tires? everyone seems to tell me i need around 2400 stall not to push threw my brakes as well as get the engine up in the power band. any ideas?

I am running a 10" PTC with about 2800 stall. We probably ride a little different here in the east but defiantly happy with it. If you call Lane at PTC he can get you the correct bolt pattern convertor. I am about 90% sure.

a buddy runs a 2000 stall behind his 6.0 and doesn't complaint of driving through brakes.

I was looking at buying a TCS converter and they said they would cut it open and change the stall.

edit: my converter is a b&m holeshot

Just keep in mind that talking stall speed only is going to be a roll of the dice with the converter not performing as you'd wish more times than not. Talk stator with your builder and how you want it to behave when it comes up on the converter. Trust me on this one.
