Ford NP 205 to GM 4L60E (4wd version)?

Does anyone make an adapter that will mate a Ford NP205 directly to a GM 4L60E (4wd version)? I have a driver drop axle which is why I want the Ford t-case. I read a few dozen other posts, but none seemed to definitively answer this. Sunray engineering was listed as having one, but I checked their site and didn't find anything. I checked AA, but they didn't list the supposed adapter they were going to make.

Please post here or email me at

Change the input gear on the 205 from Ford to GM. They are the same size and the GM is either a 32 or 27 spline input versus the Ford 31 spline input. You will need a 27 spline input to match the output of the 4L60E. AA sells a short shaft that is about 2 inches shorter otherwise you will need a spacer. I think the adapter for the GM 205 to the T350 will work just that the ford 205 is driver drop and the GM is passenger drop. I think they bolt up the same way. It also depends on the year of the 4L60E. I know the 4wd unit without the removable bell housing has the same 4 bolt pattern as the T350.
