Dodge NP 445/435/NP203/205 question

I just bought a truck today and I'm not sure exactly what its got in it.

its a 78 powerwagon, 1 ton with a 360.

The guy I got it from says its a NP445 tranny, which is the same as a 435 but with 2 PTO outputs on it instead of the 435's one output. Is this correct???

Also, he says its either a 203 or 205 transfercase. Its way too dirty to find any #s on it right now. The TC is mated to the tranny if that helps. I'm a Jeep guy, so I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at here. Help me out guys.

I only bought the truck for the front axle, so I really didn't look at the rest of the truck in much detail.

never heard of a 445... some other tranny guru might be able to chime in...

the transfer case is easy enough to figure out: fulltime = 203, parttime = 205

no pics. Its a major junker. The guy rebuilt the front end about a year ago though. he only drove it to the dump once a month or so. In the 13 years he owned it, he put only about 9K miles on it.
Most of the cab is rusted out, but the frame is surprisingly clean and rust free.

according to the Dodge service manual for 1978 trucks, the 4 speed manual trans with dual PTO for extra equipment (snow plow, etc.) is a model 445D. First gear is syncroed, and at a 4.07:1 ratio its not quite as low as the 435s 6.68:1 first gear.

All this info is from the Dodge service maual I got with the truck.
