These are the 2" X 47 spline, forged aircraft quality 4340 axles and components made buy Ouverson Eng. This customer asked for a locker in the front and mini spool for the rear. This will be a step by step machining procedure for installing this setup. steve
I have seen pic's where people use some heavy angle iron tack welded to different sides after the get it lined up then they weld the housing and cut the angle iron off.I would build atleast 4 heavy duty sawhorses to try this on if it were me.Or if you have a large steel table maybe you could cut a hole out of the center where the bottom of the diff pan could go through so the housing could sit level then you could attempt to get it all straight.
Forgot Steve I had another question for you.I was wondering what the thickness is of the rockwell axle tubes and also what is the inside diameter of them?I have heard lot's of stories and they conflict within sizes but I believe you would know for sure.
The trucks are the same weight, and none of those tires appear to have a competitive edge as far as tread compound biting the pavement noticably better...

Hey Steve or anyone else that has a narrowed axle together.
What is the overall wms to wms hubs in and hubs out?
Isn't it the same as the rear? 69.5" & 79.5"?
Thanks in advance!
Found it, I think. lol
Above is uncut and cut would be:
62.25" & 72.25."
Normal Rockwell wms to wms vs. 7.25" Rockwell wms to wms..
