same thing happened to me a few days ago....

white wire is your power to remote...put that in the middle, its yellow on this diagram, put the green and black directly above and below the white so they have power, the other side is simply grounds, the red wire with another wire coming off of it go on the top and bottom, the other wire(i forget the color) i htink its brown, goes in the middle, hope this doesnt comfuse you more

I just want to confirm this is correct: Edit: tested and is not correct. See next post

 

I just tested out my controller. Turns out it's not actually a 5 pin controller, as the ground pins don't have to be shorted to function.

Anyway, this is what I verified. The in and the out might be reversed, but the + is definetly right.
